About the Course

The courses aim to prepare dentists and dental students to pass ORE/LDS Part 1 examination. Additionally, we offer to prepare candidates for ORE/LDS Part 2 examination. Our aim is to become a leading provider of bridge courses for all internationally qualified dental health professionals by ensuring a seamless transition for international healthcare professionals entering the UK. 

The ORE (Overseas Registration Exam) Part 1 is a GDC (General Dental Council) exam and LDS (License in Dental Surgery) is the RCSE (Royal College of Surgeons of England) exam. Part 1 is designed to evaluate practical application of knowledge in clinical dentistry. The exam consists of two computer-based papers: 

  • Paper A: Clinically applied dental science and human disease.
  • Paper B: Covers law, ethics, health and safety and several other aspects related to clinical dentistry. 

Candidates who successfully pass Part 1 are then able to proceed to Part 2. Our courses are designed to cover all the relevant topics required to succeed through Part 1 examination as well as offering to prepare candidates for Part 2 through a course of your choice. We offer both mock examination (with an assessor) and communication skills courses. We will guide you through understanding common scenarios and discussing the most likely diagnosis, treatment plan and course of treatment.

Part 1
What is included for ORE/LDS Part 1 preparation

 

Plan 1: 

The question bank contains an extensive list of multiple choice questions of common expected questions from the Part 1 exam. Some answers will explain the reasoning behind them. This package contains:

  • Covering all subjects for Part 1 examination (see above list) and highly expected questions with answers. 
  • We provide you with PDF copies of past paper publications. 
  • Mock papers are also included and will appear for candidates (who booked the exam) to practice on, 2 weeks prior to the exam. 

Plan 2: 

The teaching materials will cover all Part 1 examination topics (see list of topics above) to guide candidates and help you succeed and contains: 

  • Premium theory materials with illustrations (coloured in PDF format). 
  • The theoretical materials are written and updated by our expert in examination assessor. 
  • We provide you with PDF copies of past paper publications. 
  • Exclusive access to a WhatsApp group discussion where support is available everyday, aiming to answer questions within 48 hours latest. 

Plan 3: 

This plan includes the above materials (Plan 2) in addition to: 

  • Recorded notes covering all Part 1 exam topics (see above list).
  • Our expert assessor will explain and highlight the common expectations. 

Plan 4: 

Our most comprehensive plan. You will benefit from all teaching materials and recorded notes as well as: 

  • 1 to 1 sessions on Zoom for 3 consecutive hours after completing the course material to cement comprehension.
  • We are flexible to help candidates with the timing, if required, by splitting the hours. 
  • Our expert tutor will assess your achievement, highlight the most important questions, explain and provide best practices on how to read the questions and choose the correct answer in an examination scenario. Our tutor will guide you to successfully pass Part 1. 

Part 2
What is included for ORE/LDS Part 2 preparation

Our courses are designed to help you understand the exam format, what to expect, and how to improve your chances of success.

ORE/LDS Part 2: Exam Format

  • Structure: Includes Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) with multiple stations.

We endeavour to deliver this course over 4 days. 

2. Manikin Mock (Remote or In-person)

Our manikin mock exam aims to help prepare you, with real-time feedback and help from our assessor.

Also, this course is suitable for young dentists going into practice. 

3. Mock Exam (3-Day Intensive Course)

The aim is to help candidates familiarise with the exam structure. The course is delivered over 3 days either remotely or in person and will cover all relevant topics.
